Job summary

Personio is seeking a Software Engineer with SRE/Platform expertise to manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes and GitOps pipelines to deliver reliable SaaS services across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software engineer with SRE/platform, DevOps or cloud engineering focus.
• Experience developing SaaS distributed systems using Typescript, Java/Kotlin or Python.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling and GitOps practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English (CEFR C1/C2).
• Ability to contribute to a blameless culture and learn from feedback.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's AWS account structure, organisation and permission boundaries.
• Maintain infrastructure as code and standardise provisioning with minimal bottlenecks.
• Operate GitOps-based CD pipelines across environments.
• Run and maintain EKS clusters and runtime integrations.
• Document platform capabilities and lead internal training.
• Drive technical excellence and simplify platform architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Own operational responsibilities for platform services, including on-call.
