Job summary

Stryker Cork site is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead, mentor, and develop the production team, ensuring targets across quality, service, cost and people development.

You will plan and monitor production, manage KPIs, coach staff, participate in recruitment, and uphold GMP/6S standards while driving continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Mon-Thu days, onsite, with a salary range Ireland €57,000–€94,000 per year and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years minimum Supervisor experience.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team.
• Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitates individual and team engagement and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team to achieve targets across quality, service, cost and people development.
• Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor production output, KPIs, rework, scrap and quality standards, taking action where required.
• Coach, train and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential.
• Provide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, respectfully and promptly.
• Promote positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team.
• Work with Training to develop training plans and support employee development.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of Production Operators.
• Maintain high standards of GMP, 6S, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
