Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Onsite Operations Supervisor at the Tullagreen facility in Ireland to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive improvements. You will guide safety, quality, service, cost, and people development while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand and production targets.

Role requires a degree or master's in Business/Engineering with at least 4 years in manufacturing and 2 years in supervisory roles.

Qualifications

Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
2 years minimum Supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve targets across safety, quality, service, cost and people development.
Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Monitor production performance, including rework, scrap, line clearance and quality audits, taking action where needed.
Coach, mentor and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential.
Provide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, constructively and promptly.
Foster positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team.
Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Communicate team and business performance through regular meetings and daily engagement on the production floor.
