Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Team Leader, Operations in Cork, Ireland, to manage a production team across a rotating 3-shift cycle. The role focuses on achieving quality, service, cost and people development targets with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include prioritising production to meet customer requirements, supporting training programs, and maintaining GMP/6S standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team.
• GMP / FDA regulatory requirements knowledge, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads a production team to ensure targets/KPIs for quality/service/costs/people development are achieved.
• Manages and prioritises production to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels.
• Provides training, coaching, feedback and support to team members.
• Creates a positive employee relations environment and fosters high engagement.
• Facilitates two-way communication through team meetings and line interactions to optimise efficiency.
• Participates in hiring Production Operators and supports training curriculums.
