Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring safety, on schedule, and to specification.
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to drive productivity and meet programme targets.
• Monitor progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and milestones.
• Maintain health & safety standards in line with procedures and statutory requirements.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through inspections and robust quality control processes.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and design team to align activities and resolve site issues.
• Oversee site logistics, including materials and plant, to optimise procurement and resource utilisation.
• Keep detailed daily records and progress reports, ensuring clear and consistent communication with senior management.
• Assist in the identification and management of project variations alongside the team.
• Chair site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to promote effective communication and coordination.
