They are currently delivering a major healthcare development in Cavan, Co Cavan, involving a substantial new extension alongside an existing live hospital. The project requires a high standard of programme management, quality control and coordination due to the complexity of working within an operational healthcare environment.
As Senior Site Manager, you will take a key role in the delivery of a major multi-storey hospital extension in Cavan.
The development includes approximately 7,500m² of new accommodation across five storeys, providing emergency, clinical, treatment and inpatient facilities alongside significant plant and building services infrastructure.
There are also connections into the existing hospital, separate services infrastructure and associated external and site development works.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, site engineering team, building services team and subcontractors, taking responsibility for day-to-day construction and ensuring the project remains on programme while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and finishes.
You will be an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record of delivering technically demanding building projects.
You need to be comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and work packages while maintaining control of programme, quality and safety.
Experience on healthcare construction projects would be particularly relevant due to the live hospital environment, services coordination and high standard of finishes required.
You will be practical, organised and confident making decisions on site while communicating effectively with engineers, subcontractors, consultants and senior management.
