GPC - Global Professional Consultants is recruiting a Site Manager/Project Manager for a large housing project in Waterford, Ireland. The role covers tender through construction to handover, overseeing a mix of apartments, duplexes and houses on site.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in site management on housing developments (40+ units preferred), experience in Ireland or the UK, strong team leadership, and excellent English with eligibility to work in Ireland.
Due to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, one of Irelands top Developer/Builders are hiring a Site Manager/Project Manager for a large project in Waterford. This project consists of a mix of apartments, duplexes and houses. There is also a second site with 89 houses to be built. We are particularly interested in candidates with Site Management experience in housing development, whether gained in Ireland or the UK.
Ensure that all project activities adhere to established planning, health and safety, and environmental standards, while maintaining a commitment to high-quality outcomes. Take on the comprehensive responsibility for the project's progress, commencing from the tender stage and extending through construction to the final handover. Collaborate with the broader team, including quantity surveyors, to effectively manage and monitor the project budget. Put together comprehensive project plans, encompassing elements such as scheduling, program management, and risk assessment. Serve as the conduit for vital information dissemination to site teams, crucial stakeholders, and collaborative partners within your assigned project area. Oversee the site team, both directly and indirectly, to ensure that the project is executed according to the planned timeline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Management roles within the purview of either a primary contractor or a developer. Prior exposure to high-volume housing projects is highly advantageous, particularly those encompassing 40 units or more. Well-documented history of successful oversight in the management of extensive, high-quality housing ventures, whether within Ireland or the UK. Adept at spearheading and guiding teams effectively. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work. Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, and eligibility to work in Ireland is a requisite. Experience in groundworks and site development processes would be viewed as a valuable asset.
Salary: Salary circa €80k €90k NEG DOE
