The role requires strong RC Frame experience on major residential projects and a clear understanding of drawings, QA/QC and construction standards. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.
Job Description – Site Manager - South Dublin €75,000-€85,000 DOE + Bonus + Vehicle/Car Allowance + Package Irish Main Contractor - 800-Unit Apartment Development
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the site. Manage construction activities from groundworks through to completion and handover. Oversee groundworks, foundations, structural works and RC Frame construction. Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams to ensure works progress in line with programme. Monitor progress and ensure key project milestones are achieved. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements. Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and wider project team. Review drawings, specifications and technical information and resolve issues as they arise. Carry out regular site inspections and ensure high standards of quality are maintained. Ensure health and safety requirements are implemented and maintained across the site. Manage site resources, productivity and sequencing of works. Maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation. Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors effectively.
Minimum 7+ years' experience in Site Management. Must have experience managing projects from groundworks onwards. Strong RC Frame experience is essential. Previous experience on large-scale residential or apartment developments is highly desirable. Experience working with an Irish main contractor. Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle. Proven ability to manage subcontractors, trades and site teams. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and programme management. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings. Good understanding of QA/QC and construction standards. Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements. Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. Relevant construction or engineering qualification is desirable.
