Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan seeks a Civils Site Manager for Waterford with DOE €70k–€80k. You will oversee daily civil site operations, lead site teams and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely and to spec.

The role requires a third-level engineering qualification and proven civil site management experience, with strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate complex programmes.

Qualifications

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for aCivils Site Managerfor our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring civil engineering works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site operations across civil engineering works
• Lead and supervise foremen, operatives, subcontractors and other site personnel
• Coordinate the sequencing and delivery of works in line with project programmes and specifications
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information to ensure works are delivered correctly
• Manage traffic management and coordinate works within busy or high-traffic locations
• Monitor quality, progress and workmanship, ensuring works meet project requirements and standards
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or a similar construction environment
• Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor or similar construction organisation
• Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations
• Experience managing traffic on large-scale sites or within high-traffic locations
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
