Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan seeks a Civils Site Manager for Waterford with DOE €70k–€80k. You will oversee daily civil site operations, lead site teams and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely and to spec.

The role requires a third-level engineering qualification and proven civil site management experience, with strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate complex programmes.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or similar construction environment.
• Experience managing site teams and coordinating day-to-day site operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across civil engineering works.
• Lead foremen, operatives, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Coordinate sequencing and delivery of works with project programmes and specs.
• Review drawings and technical information to ensure correct delivery.
• Manage traffic on large or high-traffic sites.
• Monitor quality, progress and workmanship to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
