Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Limerick seeks a Site Manager to lead daily site operations on a large-scale project. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and strict quality control while directing subcontractors and site teams.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will monitor progress against milestones, coordinate with engineers and the design team, and maintain robust records and communications on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Site management experience on large-scale projects in Ireland.
• Proven leadership and coordination skills.
• Strong health & safety knowledge.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and trades to hit milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring safety, on time delivery and quality.
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to drive productivity and maintain programme targets.
• Monitor progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and milestones.
• Maintain and enforce health & safety standards per procedures and regulations.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through inspections and quality control processes.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, QS, Engineers and design team to resolve issues.
• Oversee site logistics, materials, and plant to optimise procurement and resources.
• Keep detailed daily records and progress reports for senior management.
• Assist in identifying and managing project variations.
• Chair site meetings, daily briefs, and toolbox talks.

Reporting to: Project Manager

• Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to drive productivity and maintain programme targets
• Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and key milestones
• Maintain and enforce health & safety standards in line with company procedures and statutory requirements
• Ensure high-quality delivery through regular inspections and robust quality control processes
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and design team to align activities and resolve site issues
• Oversee site logistics, including materials and plant, to optimise procurement and resource utilisation
• Keep detailed daily records and progress reports, ensuring clear and consistent communication with senior management
• Assist in the identification and management of project variations alongside the team
• Chair site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to promote effective communication and coordination
