Job summary

DB Recruitment seeks experienced Site Managers to join a leading main contractor on large-scale projects across Dublin, Kildare and Galway. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety, quality and programme delivery.

You will supervise subcontractors, coordinate logistics, lead toolbox talks and maintain site records while driving HSE compliance and project reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, site operations and sequencing.
  • Strong health & safety understanding and construction regulations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, trades and site teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and relevant PM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
  • Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor progress and work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate site logistics, materials, plant and resources.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications and technical information, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with the Design Team, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship and quality are maintained.
  • Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation, RAMS, permits and company procedures.
  • Lead toolbox talks, site inductions and safety briefings as required.
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, photographs and progress updates.
  • Assist with the coordination of inspections, testing, snagging and project close-out.
  • Attend and contribute to site, progress and coordination meetings.
  • Identify potential delays, technical issues and resource requirements and communicate these to the Project Manager.
  • Support the Project Manager with programme updates, procurement and project reporting.
  • Promote a positive health, safety, quality and environmental culture across the site.

A leading main contractor is seeking experienced Site Managers to join their team across various projects in Dublin, Kildare & Galway. The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard of quality and in line with project specifications.
