STRIVE Search is recruiting on behalf of an established Irish main contractor for a Site Manager role on a major 800-unit apartment development in South Dublin. You will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinating with the Project Manager and site team to ensure on-time delivery, safety, and quality.

The role requires strong RC frame experience, 7+ years in site management, and a track record with large-scale residential schemes. Ireland-based, salary with bonus and package options.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day-to-day management and coordination of the site.
• Manage construction activities from groundworks through to completion and handover.
• Oversee groundworks, foundations, structural works and RC frame construction.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams to progress in line with programme.
• Monitor progress and achieve key milestones.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specs and quality requirements.
• Work with project team including PMs, engineers and QS.
• Review drawings and resolve issues; carry out site inspections.
• Ensure health and safety across the site and maintain records.

• €75,000–€85,000 DOE + Bonus + Vehicle/Car Allowance + Package
• Irish Main Contractor - 800-Unit Apartment Development
• I'm currently working with an established Irish main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a major 800-unit apartment development in South Dublin. This is a large-scale residential project offering an excellent opportunity to join an established construction team and play a key role in the delivery of a significant apartment scheme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

The Role

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the site.
• Manage construction activities from groundworks through to completion and handover.
• Oversee groundworks, foundations, structural works and RC Frame construction.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams to ensure works progress in line with programme.
• Monitor progress and ensure key project milestones are achieved.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and wider project team.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information and resolve issues as they arise.
• Carry out regular site inspections and ensure high standards of quality are maintained.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are implemented and maintained across the site.
• Manage site resources, productivity and sequencing of works.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation.
• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years' experience in Site Management.
• Must have experience managing projects from groundworks onwards.
• Strong RC Frame experience is essential.
• Previous experience on large-scale residential or apartment developments is highly desirable.
• Experience working with an Irish main contractor.
• Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and programme management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of QA/QC and construction standards.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Relevant construction or engineering qualification is desirable.
