Job summary

Leading Irish Main Contractor in West Dublin is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer for a €100m+ mixed-use development. You will take responsibility for setting out, surveying and coordinating civil and structural works across multiple blocks, with a long-term, high-profile programme.

You’ll support the Project Manager, mentor junior engineers, and ensure works progress against drawings, specifications and programme, while enjoying a strong career path within a respected Irish contractor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years site engineering experience in Ireland, ideally with an Irish Main Contractor.
• Strong setting-out and surveying using Total Station and GPS.
• Experience on large-scale residential or commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Set out, survey, and manage engineering activities across core packages.
• Coordinate with PM, Site Manager, design team, and subcontractors to meet programme.
• Oversee junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Monitor works to ensure drawings and specs are followed and on schedule.

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading Main Contractors on a major €100m+ mixed use development in West Dublin. This is a substantial, long term development involving several hundred apartments across multiple multi-storey blocks, alongside commercial and community spaces, extensive infrastructure, utilities, landscaping and public realm works. You’ll be joining a long established Irish contractor that has been operating for almost a century and has developed into one of the most respected construction companies operating across Ireland and Britain. Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for setting out, surveying and engineering activities across major structural, groundworks, drainage, services and external works packages.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, design team and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered accurately and in line with programme.
• Oversee and support Site Engineers and junior members of the engineering team, providing technical guidance where required.
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure construction is progressing in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Site Engineering experience in Ireland, ideally with an Irish Main Contractor.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Previous experience on large-scale residential or commercial projects.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a strong package in the region of €75,000 – €80,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension Scheme.
