Job summary

Mannok Build Limited is seeking a Site Maintenance Operator at its Ballyconnell site. The role involves cleaning and housekeeping within the production environment, operating machinery, and performing routine maintenance and waste disposal duties to keep the site compliant and efficient.

Candidates should demonstrate health & safety awareness, physical fitness, and the ability to work both in a team and independently, including flexibility for overtime, weekend, and night work when required.

Qualifications

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Site Maintenance Operator will be responsible for the cleaning and housekeeping within the production environment. In addition, you will be responsible for operating machinery, maintenance and waste disposal.

General housekeeping duties i.e., shovelling, sweeping and tidying. Housekeeping to the highest standard. Ensuring the site is clean and tidy, including cleaning of equipment and production area.

Duties will include:

• Sorting materials and waste products for recycling or disposal.
• Assist the production department when required.
• Operation across other areas on site when required.
• Assisting with manufacturing process.
• Carrying out minor maintenance.
• Working with various aggregates, sand/dust, cement, and air pollution control residue.

Flexibility: Overtime, weekends and night shifts when required.

Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of health & safety within the workplace and be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role.

Experience of working within a production manufacturing facility and a Maintenance roll is desirable. Demonstrate the ability to work in a team and on their own initiative, are flexible and have excellent communication skills.
