Job summary

Cleantech Civils in Ireland is seeking a skilled Operative to support mobilisation and demobilisation across multiple project sites. You will prepare site offices and welfare units, manage materials stores, and assist with vehicle deployments, plant maintenance and safety standards, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.

Candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience and a full driving licence are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar construction, civil engineering, plant, maintenance role.
• Experience in preparing site offices and welfare units for mobilisation.
• Experience in general maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of site offices and welfare facilities.
• Experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Experience in spray painting and general fabrication works.
• Experience in internal office and toilet fit-outs and repairs.
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Support all site mobilisation and demobilisation requirements.
• Prepare site offices and welfare units to a high standard, safe and ready for deployment.
• Prepare and set up materials stores and COSHH stores, including electrical and plumbing arrangements.
• Prepare signage, fencing, barriers and equipment for loading, transport and installation on site.
• Support the deployment of company vans, jeeps and other vehicles to various project sites.
• Support the repair and maintenance of small plant and general site equipment.
• Ensure all equipment, materials, signage, fencing and site facilities are accounted for during demobilisation and returned in good condition.
• Liaise with Purchasing to track returned materials and reissue to other sites as required.
• Supporting project sites with additional materials, equipment and practical requirements as necessary throughout the programme.
• Working closely with the Plant Manager and site teams to ensure mobilisation and demobilisation activities are completed safely, efficiently and within timeframes.
• Working in varying team sizes to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping and organisation.

Job description

Cleantech Civils is currently looking to recruit a skilled Operative.

This role might suit someone fulltime or parttime, both options are open for discussion.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting all site mobilisation and demobilisation requirements.

• Preparing site offices and welfare units to a high standard, both internally and externally, ensuring they are clean, safe, fully operational and ready for deployment.

• Preparing and setting up materials stores and COSHH stores, including the correct electrical and plumbing arrangements.

• Preparing all signage, fencing, barriers and associated equipment for safe loading, transportation, offloading and installation on site.

• Supporting the deployment of company vans, jeeps and other vehicles to various project sites.

• Supporting the repair and maintenance of small plant and general site equipment.

• Ensuring all equipment, materials, signage, fencing and site facilities are accounted for during demobilisation and returned in good condition.

• Filter returned materials & re stack/band as appropriate for re-issue.

• Liaise with Purchasing to track returned materials & reissue to other sites as required.

• Supporting project sites with additional materials, equipment and practical requirements as necessary throughout the programme.

• Working closely with the Plant Manager and site teams to ensure all mobilisation and demobilisation activities are completed safely, efficiently and within required timeframes.

• Working in varying team sizes to meet project requirements and deadlines.
