Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Site Engineer to set out works, manage dimensional controls and ensure quality in line with contract drawings and site surveys. You will work with project planners, consultants and suppliers to optimise construction sequences while upholding safety and site procedures.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 3 years post-qualification experience, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities on site across building, infrastructure and related works.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years post-qualification experience on construction projects.
• Articulate and numerate with ability to deliver reports in writing and verbally.
• Good interpersonal skills and professional conduct on site.
• Working knowledge of temporary works; TWC advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sets out the works in accordance with drawings, specifications and site surveys
• Liaises with project planners regarding construction programmes and supplier outputs
• Checks materials and works in progress for compliance with requirements, observing Q10
• Adheres to all safety requirements outlined in the company safety statement
• Inputs into Inspection and Test Plans and ensures supply chain provides test data
• Raises RFIs and resolves technical issues with employers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Quality control and record keeping as per method statements and QA plans
