Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Site Engineer to lead setting-out on site in line with drawings, specifications and site surveys, ensuring tolerances are achieved without compromising quality. You will coordinate with project planners and suppliers, and ensure adherence to safety and QA processes across the works.

The role requires at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a project-based environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years post-qualification experience in construction or project-based organisations.
• Able to deliver reports verbally and in writing with objectivity and persuasiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with influence across teams.
• Working knowledge of Temporary Works/Control of temporary works.
• Experience beneficial in roles requiring coordination with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Sets out the works in accordance with drawings, specifications and site surveys
• Liaises with project planners regarding construction programmes and supplier outputs
• Checks materials and works in progress for compliance with requirements while observing quality standards
• Adheres to safety requirements as outlined in the safety statement
• Inputs into Inspection and Test Plans and ensures supply chain test data supports requirements
• Raises RFIs and resolves technical issues with employer's representatives, suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintains quality control and records per method statements and inspection/testing plans
