Site Engineer – Mayo

Arcon Recruitment, the longest established recruitment agency in Mayo, is currently recruiting for Site Engineers on behalf of a growing construction company delivering a range of commercial construction projects throughout County Mayo.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, applications are welcome from Graduate, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Site Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive construction team working on high-profile commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying using Total Station, GPS, and other surveying equipment
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
• Monitoring project progress and maintaining accurate site records
• Assisting with quality control procedures and inspections
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site
• Preparing site reports and documentation
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors where required
• Resolving technical issues and providing engineering support to the site team
• Assisting in project delivery from commencement through to completion

Requirements

Graduate / Junior Engineers

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying equipment desirable
• Full driving licence preferred

Intermediate / Senior Engineers

• Previous Site Engineering experience within commercial construction projects
• Strong setting out and surveying experience
• Proficient in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and engineering software
• Excellent problem-solving and project coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple work streams and deadlines
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site operations
