Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Services is seeking a Site Engineer for a prominent construction company in Co. Mayo. This role offers a competitive salary package along with opportunities for career progression within a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will assist the Contracts Manager in various projects, coordinate site personnel, ensure safety standards, and maintain documentation. Ideal applicants have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Engineer role.
• Background in civil engineering or commercial construction projects.
• Full clean driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Contracts Manager with day‑to‑day site operations.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site personnel.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed to specification.
• Setting out and site surveying duties.
• Maintaining health & safety standards on site.
• Liaising with clients, engineers, architects, and suppliers.
• Assisting with project documentation and reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with a civil or commercial construction background to join a busy team and assist the Contracts Manager across a range of projects.
