Careeriser-Limited is seeking a Site Engineer for a main contractor project in Cork. The role requires HETAC Level 8 engineering qualification and at least two years of relevant experience in Ireland, with demonstrated setting-out and engineering management capabilities.

You will lead site health and safety, QA and compliance, oversee subcontractors, coordinate design reviews and contribute to planning and procurement activities. A robust benefits package accompanies the position.

Formación

• HETAC Level 8 Engineering qualification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ similar experience in Ireland.
• Experience with setting out and managing engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead health, safety, quality and compliance across the project, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout delivery.
• Coordinate design reviews, technical queries and timely resolution of design and construction issues.
• Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers to ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and commissioning requirements.
• Monitor project progress, provide weekly performance reporting and address potential delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and close-out defects.
• Oversee quality assurance, document control and building control compliance.
• Manage key work packages, sequencing, trade coordination and input into procurement/planning.
• Liaise with utilities providers, local authorities and statutory bodies as required.
• Identify opportunities for build efficiencies through design optimisation and value engineering.
• Lead, mentor and develop site engineering teams and promote a collaborative, quality-driven culture.
