Job summary

SSA Consulting Group in Cork seeks a Site Engineer for a major development with a leading Tier 1 contractor. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, supervise personnel, and ensure high safety and quality standards on site across civil engineering works.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree and has at least 2 years’ site experience with main contractors or RC frame subcontractors, plus strong communication skills.

• 2+ years site experience with either a main building contractor or RC frame subcontractor.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining site records such as daily and weekly registers.
• Surveying and setting out using Total Station, GPS.
• Day-to-day supervision of site personnel.
• Promoting and ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects.
• Supervising and managing sub-contractors.
• Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.

I am seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a highly reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor for a development in Cork.
The company is aleading building and civil engineering contractor with vast experience across all sectors of the construction industry. They are a nationally recognised contractor with a portfolio of major projects across all sectors of the industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain long-term employment with one of the countries leading main contractors.
€50,000 - €60,000 + package on offer.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
