Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Wicklow. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Management team to deliver setting-out and surveying, check drawings and specifications, and coordinate site activities.

The role requires 3+ years of site engineering experience, strong setting-out skills, a full clean driving licence, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a Site Engineer.
• Strong setting-out experience.
• Good knowledge of drawings, levels and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full clean driving licence – essential.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying using Total Station / GPS.
• Checking drawings, levels and specifications.
• QA/QC and site inspections.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery.
• Resolving technical queries and supporting day-to-day site operations.
