Job summary

Global Professional Consultants, a Civil Engineering recruitment specialist, seeks an experienced Site Engineer for a large residential project in Wicklow. You will be setting out, surveying, overseeing civil works and ensuring drawings are followed.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least two years' recent experience in Ireland or the UK, with strong MS Office and AutoCAD skills. Benefits include a €55k–€65k salary, pension, company phone and laptop, and a vehicle/fuel

A leading Civil Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in Wicklow. They have experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering, Construction, Motorway Service Stations, Site Development, Demolition, Sports Pitch Development and Land Drainage. The successful candidate will be working on a large residential project.

Role:

• Setting out
• Overseeing building work
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
