Job summary

Breagh Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join a growing Irish Civil Engineering Contractor on a public infrastructure project in County Galway. You will undertake setting out, surveying, and quality assurance across earthworks, drainage, access infrastructure, and concrete works, coordinating with the project team to deliver on schedule.

Applicants should have a civil engineering degree and 2+ years of site engineering experience in Ireland, with strongTotal Station and surveying

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience, particularly using Total Station equipment.
• Previous experience across civils projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying across the project using Total Station, GPS and other surveying equipment.
• Oversee engineering activities across earthworks, drainage, access infrastructure, concrete works and associated civil engineering packages.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and relevant quality standards.
• Coordinate site activities with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors and wider project team.
