Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Site Engineer in Wicklow to join a leading civil contractor on a large residential project. You will be setting out, surveying, and checking drawings, with exposure to GPS and total station equipment.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least two years' experience on projects in Ireland or the UK, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. A supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Proficient with GPS, site engineer level equipment and total station.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

Role:

• Setting out
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 2-years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
