Brightpath Recruitment partners with a leading building and civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer for the Galway region. You will lead accurate setting out for groundworks, foundations and structures, using modern survey technology and coordinate with project teams to maintain quality and progress.

This role offers long-term growth, genuine job security, structured development and mentorship, with a clear path to step up into Site Management as projects expand.

Qualifications

• Third-level degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–5 years as a site engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate setting out for groundworks, foundations and superstructures using modern survey technology.
• Manage technical documentation, review design proposals and resolve technical queries.
• Oversee subcontractors, review RAMS and ensure compliance with regulations, project specs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain site records and monitor progress against the program with the Project Manager.
