Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Galway is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering commercial and residential projects across Galway. The role focuses on setting out, surveying, and on-site coordination to maintain quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in site engineering, strong GPS/Total Station experience, and the ability to read drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Experience on commercial and/or residential projects preferred.
• Strong setting out experience using GPS and Total Station.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction methods and site coordination.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant degree/qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• Full driving licence and right to work in Ireland.

• Assist with technical queries and resolving site issues.
• Support health & safety procedures and site compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
