Job summary

NexVentur group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a civil project in Louth on a 1-year contract. You will work with the site team to ensure works are delivered accurately and on schedule, setting out and verifying measurements against drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years’ experience on civil projects, strong setting-out skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a busy on-site environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Setting out works accurately on site.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a civil engineering project in Louth on a 1-year contract.

This is a strong opportunity for a Site Engineer looking to take on responsibility within a live civil engineering environment, working closely with the wider site team to ensure works are delivered accurately and efficiently.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be involved in the day-to-day engineering requirements of the project, including:

• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works
• Carrying out site measurements and checks
• Monitoring works to ensure they are completed correctly
• Working closely with the Site Management and Engineering teams

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience working on civil engineering projects
• Strong setting-out experience
• Good technical and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively within a busy site environment
• A proactive and practical approach to site engineering
