Job summary

NexVentur group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a civil project in Louth on a 1-year contract. You will work with the site team to ensure works are delivered accurately and on schedule, setting out and verifying measurements against drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years’ experience on civil projects, strong setting-out skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a busy on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience on civil engineering projects.
• Strong setting-out experience.
• Good technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy site environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out works accurately on site.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works.
• Carrying out site measurements and checks.
• Monitoring works to ensure they are completed correctly.
• Working closely with the Site Management and Engineering teams.
• Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site.
• Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
• Supporting the smooth progression of the project programme.
