Jons Civil Engineering Company Ltd in Ireland invites applications for a Site Engineer to join a civil infrastructure project near Dundalk, County Louth. You will work with the Site Agent and project team to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3–6 years' site experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit. You will inspect settings, monitor progress, and contribute to safety and sustainability on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• 3–6 years' experience in a similar site engineering role.
• Experience on civil/infrastructure projects with focus on roads.
• Experience with digital project/information management systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar software.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil projects to required quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Site Agent, Construction Manager, Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and company procedures.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and site records.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to support cost control.
• Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join our team on a civil infrastructure project near Dundalk, County Louth. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering projects to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.
