Job summary

One of the largest Main Contractors in the West is seeking a Site Engineer for an 80 unit residential development in Co. Mayo. This hands-on, site-based role works closely with the Senior Engineer and Site Manager to ensure timely delivery of high-quality works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years site-based engineering experience in Ireland.
• Proficient in setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of engineering works on site, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, drawings and specifications.
• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying for all phases of the residential build.
• Support the Site Manager and Senior Engineer with planning, sequencing and daily site operations.
• Liaise with subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring quality standards and health & safety requirements are met.

Overview

A highly renowned Main Contractor in Connacht is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on an 80 Unit Residential Development in Co. Mayo. This is a hands on, site-based role, working closely with the Senior Engineer and Site Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of a high quality residential scheme.

The contractor has a strong reputation for delivering projects to a high standard and has a substantial pipeline of work across the West of Ireland. This role offers long term, secure employment on projects close to home, along with clear opportunities to progress to Senior Engineer level within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of engineering works on site, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a site team.

The Package

Salary will be dependent upon your experience, but an experienced Site Engineer can expect a package in the region of €65,000 + Vehicle and Fuel + Matched Pension.
