Inform3 Recruitment are hiring for a main contractor on projects worth €500k - €10m. Company has a strong order book in the area from repeat clients due to their consistency and high standards.

They require a Site Engineer capable of organising a site - excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to strengthen their management skills. The ideal individual must be flexible in their approach as they may be involved in various sectors/projects.

Job Title: Site Engineer

Job Location: Limerick

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 D.O.E.

Sector: Commercial, Industrial & Residential

The Role

• Set out on groundworks & structural phases of the project using Total Station, GPS & automatic levels
• Coordinate and supervise the construction of commercial, industrial and residential developments
• Maintain an excellent standard of Health & Safety on site carrying out QA procedures, concrete pour checks & RFIs
• Report to Managing Director and Contracts Manager
• Manage manpower on multiple sites including direct staff, trades and subcontractors
• Hold meetings with Clients, Design Team, site staff and Senior Management providing updates
• Lead toolbox talks and whiteboard meetings on a weekly basis
• Ensure work is complete on time, on budget and to the highest level of quality possible
• Oversee labour, order materials and ensure deadlines are met
• Hold a site diary, keeping track of Health & Safety and administration procedures while recording performance and progress of site operations
• Organise drawings
• Work closely with subcontractors, site team & design team and resolve any technical issues that may arise
• Maintain record of materials, plant & logistics on site

Job Requirements

• Construction Management/Trades Background or Third level Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
• Excellent IT skills required – MS Products, AutoCAD, Revit etc.
• Experience with robotic total station, GPS and levelling
• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer on projects valued over €2m
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and schedules to meet required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
