Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading Irish Main Contractor for a Site Manager (Construction) role in Cork.

The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise the residential development, manage on-site manpower, liaise with the design team, and ensure works are delivered on time, to budget and in accordance with H&S policies.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Site Manager.
• Engineering background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the construction of a residential development.
• Support the Project Manager and Contracts Manager to ensure smooth running of the project.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure works are being completed according to drawings.
• Oversee industrial projects and manage manpower on site including direct staff and subcontractors.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

About the Company
