Position: Site Engineer

Project: Commercial & Residential

Location: Drogheda

Salary: €40,000 to €45,000 + travel allowance

About the Company:

The hiring company is a distinguished Tier 2 Building Contractor renowned for their specialization in high-value, high-profile projects across the Republic of Ireland. This vacancy is ideal for an adept Project Manager with a track record of successfully overseeing projects exceeding €20 million from inception to fruition. The organization also offers a clear path to advancement in Contracts Management.

The Role
  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project.
  • Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager & Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
  • A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 place years’ placement experience in an engineering role.
  • Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
