Job Title –Site Engineer

Project – Commercial Project

Job Location – Dublin

Salary – €50K-€60K

About the Company

Exciting opportunity to work on a very high-profile project with a Top Tier main building contractor in Dublin City Centre. This role requires a mixture of setting out, quality assurance and to support the senior engineer.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Read and interoperate drawings to ensure works carried out are in line with the drawings and designs.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Support the Senior Engineer/ Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site engineering role.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
