About the Company

Very busy contractor across Munster and Dublin are looking to add a Senior Site Engineer to their team for commercial & educational works in Dublin. They are tendering for several projects as well as being awarded contracts – which promotes great opportunity for long-term work and career progression.

The Role

• Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards
• Provide Technical support to the Project Team
• Setting out and checking works as required for the project
• Ensure all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations
• Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel
• Overseeing all setting out onsite

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as site engineer for main contractor
• Thorough knowledge of database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination
