Job summary

EPS Group is seeking a Site Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure at the Dundalk Waste Water Treatment Plant. The role focuses on coordinating on-site civil activities, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and to project specs.

You will work with the ER and RE, manage subcontractors and drive look-ahead schedules and progress reporting. A 3rd level engineering qualification and a full driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering civil construction projects, ideally in water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure.
• Excellent project coordination, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all site-based civil construction activities and handovers.
• Support delivery of safety, quality, programme and budget objectives.
• Assist with PSDP and PSCS duties and ensure site safety procedures.
• Manage day-to-day communication with ER, RE and subcontractors.
• Coordinate design requirements between engineering teams and civil subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements on site.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
• Produce monthly civil progress reports and documentation.
• Foster a collaborative team environment across project stakeholders.
