Job summary

EPS Group in Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer to deliver water treatment infrastructure. You will supervise Civil and MEICA works, ensure HSQE compliance and support delivery from award to handover.

You will manage site labour, co-ordinate subcontractors, maintain records and contribute to designs and technical documentation. The role requires a Civil/MEICA/Electrical engineering degree, 5 years' construction site experience and an EU/Irish driving license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Strong understanding of contract conditions, construction regulations and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Full EU/Irish driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site works for minor civil and MEICA works ensuring compliance with project quality plans and safety protocols.
• Manage Health & Safety documentation and enforce safe work practices.
• Supervise and co‑ordinate site labour and subcontractors, managing resources, and planning work to meet deadlines.
• Support the project team for procurement of labour, materials, and equipment.

• Prepare engineering reports, method statements, commissioning schedules, as-built records and technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews with the project team and assist with resolution of technical difficulties promptly.
• Maintain site records and assist project commercial team with monitoring site costs, highlighting additional works, and providing data for valuations.

About the Role

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' construction experience in site engineering, project coordination, or MEICA/civil installations (advantageous).
• IOSH Managing Safely in Construction certification (advantageous).
