Job summary

EPS Group is seeking a Site Based Civil Works Project Engineer for a project based in Mallow, Co. Cork, Ireland. The role involves coordinating civil works, M&E interfaces, and on-site delivery to time and budget targets.

The successful candidate will work on a Dromcollogher (Co. Limerick) project, with responsibilities spanning safety, documentation, and look-ahead planning. A pro-active team player with strong coordination skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Site Based Civil Project Engineer coordinating civil works, M&E interface and handover activities.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative working partnership with the IW EPS ECI project delivery team.
• On-site implementation of EPS ECI delivery principles: Safe, On Budget, On Programme, in line with specifications.
• Support on-site PSDP & PSCS duties and responsibilities.
• Implementation of EPS ECI site safety packs for civil activities.
• Manage day-to-day communications and documentation with ER and site RE staff, in a pro-active team environment.
• Coordinate with EPS civil Sub-Contractors and ensure design co-ordination with EPS designers.
• Coordinate and implement Civil Environmental requirements on site.
• Maintain a daily site report sheet recording personnel, works, instructions and delays.
• Update civil element of the contract works programme monthly.
• Provide weekly 4-week civil look-ahead.
• Provide monthly 4-month civil look-ahead and monthly civil site reports.

EPS are recruiting for a Project Engineer for a project in Dromcollogher County Limerick.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 1. Site Based Civil Project Engineer, to co-ordinate all site civil works activities namely, civil construction, M&E interface and handover activities.


• 2. Develop and maintain a collaborative working partnership with the overall IW EPS ECI project delivery team.


• 3. On site Implementation of EPS ECI project delivery principles. Delivered Safely –On Budget - On Programme - In Compliance with Specifications


• 4. Support the on-site PSDP & PSCS duties and responsibilities.


• 5. Implementation of the EPS ECI site safety packs – specifically for civil activities.


• 6. Management of Day-to-Day communications & documentation with the ER and site RE staff, by way of a positive and pro-active approach working in a team environment via excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• 7. Management of Day-to-Day communications & documentation with EPS civil Sub-Contractors including Design co-ordination between EPS designers and EPS sub-contractors. All filed to the project folder.


• 8. Co-ordination of and implementation of civil Environmental requirements.


• 9. Maintain a site report sheet on a daily basis to capture, times of all personnel on site, brief description of works been done, RE instructions. Delays -additional works


• 10.Update civil element of the contract works programme monthly.


• 11.Provide weekly – A 4 week civil look ahead


• 12.Provide monthly – A 4 month civil look ahead.


• 13.Provision of monthly civil site reports within the current ECI template
