Job summary

Glanua in Ireland seeks a Civil Project Engineer in Dungarvan to join a team delivering water and wastewater projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 2+ years in a similar position, and a full driving licence.

You will coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors and site staff, ensuring HSQE compliance and timely project delivery. You will use GPS, total station and CAD tools for setting out, design reviews and as-built data, while preparing progress reports and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Civil Engineering role
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Ability to work in a team on project delivery and engage with suppliers/sub-contractors at procurement and delivery stages
• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; GPS, Total Station and CAD tools
• Strong communication, motivation and full driving licence
• Familiarity with HSQE standards and on-site safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering one or more projects
• Ensure HSQE standards and on-site procedures are followed
• Manage day-to-day site operations and assist the project manager
• Prepare and review specifications and design drawings; develop design solutions
• Use GPS/Total Station/3D scanner for setting out and as-built data
• Prepare monthly progress reports and safety files; assist with procurement
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site staff
• Mentor junior staff and pursue CPD and career progression
