Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Agent in Dublin, Ireland to join our client's civil infrastructure team. The role involves leading site activities, coordinating foremen and subcontractors, and ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years of post-graduate experience, demonstrated leadership, and strong commercial awareness to manage project costs and risks on major infrastructure

Qualifications

• 10+ years post-graduate experience delivering civil projects (roads, rail, bridges).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all site activities to deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality.
• Lead foremen, engineers and subcontractors, allocating labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) requirements.
• Drive project cost control and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, designers and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Review drawings, documentation and construction methodologies to support execution.
• Identify risks and maintain programme targets and productivity.
• Contribute to project planning and progress reporting.

Site Agent

About the Role: We are seeking experienced Site Agent to join our clients team on civil infrastructure projects in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated construction professionals to play a key role in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Lead and supervise site teams, including foremen, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient allocation of labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements and company procedures.
• Drive commercial performance by managing project costs, maximising value, identifying value engineering opportunities, and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaise effectively with clients, designers, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Review and coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies to support efficient project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity, programme targets, and quality standards.
• Contribute to project planning, progress reporting, and overall project delivery.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience. Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects, with particular interest in roads, rail, bridges etc. Ability to manage and lead teams of foremen, engineers and subcontractors. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs, budgets etc. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
