Job summary

SuperValu in Ireland is seeking a full-time merchandise assistant to stock, rotate and face off stock in the assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be organised and flexible, and able to use initiative while working as part of a team. Duties include processing orders, presenting the store to a high standard, and coordinating with the Store Manager on layouts and stock changes.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
• Experience in merchandising and stock rotation preferred.
• Diligence in keeping store standards high and hygiene compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for various departments.
• Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times.
• Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented.
• Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures.
• Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures.
• Keep the back-store tidy and packed away.
