Job summary

Centra in Ireland is hiring a full-time store merchandiser to ensure all stock is correctly rotated, faced and presented to the highest standard on the shop floor and tills. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to implement layout changes and maintain hygiene and product quality across the department.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, well organised and able to use their initiative as part of a busy team. Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and present the store to high standards.
• Process orders for departments.
• Rotate stock and ensure correct labelling.
• Liaise with Store Manager on layout changes and implementation.
• Ensure deliveries are checked in line with goods inwards procedures.
• Keep the back-store tidy and organised.

Main purpose of the role:
Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  Main duties:
  

• Actively live Centra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based;
  
• Process orders for various departments;
  
• Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times;
  
• Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented;
  
• Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures;
  
• Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures.
  
• Keep the back-store tidy and packed away.
  

About the locality:

We are currently looking to take on an extra member of staff for theShop floor and Tills . This is a full time position and is not suitable for someone going to college . Full trainning provided for the successful candidate .
