Job summary

Corrib Oil is seeking a part-time Shift Manager for our service station in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. You will oversee daily store operations, supervise staff, and ensure opening/closing procedures are followed in line with security policies.

The role involves staff induction and development, efficient checkout operation, promotion of the Customer Loyalty programme, stock control, handling customer queries, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all duties carried out by the team during shift
• General supervision of the store and staff and delegation of duties when required
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out efficiently in all areas of the Service Station premises and in accordance with security and other related procedures
• Comply with and ensure that company policies and procedures are always adhered to within the store
• Assist in induction, training, and development of staff in the store
• Ensure the check outs are operated efficiently and effectively
• Promote the Customer Loyalty programme and engage staff in this process
• Responsibility for stock management and checking deliveries against dockets and raising supplier queries when necessary
• Handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to store procedure with high customer care standards
• Ensure hygiene standards and general presentation of the store are maintained
• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements for the Service Station and report breaches promptly
• Be responsible for the Service Station in the absence of the Store Manager
• Perform any other duties as directed by management

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all duties are carried out by the team during shift.
• General supervision of the store and staff and delegation of duties when required.
• To ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out efficiently in all areas of the Service Station premises and in accordance with security and other related procedures.
• To comply with and ensure that company policies and procedures are always adhered to within the store.
• To assist in the induction, training, and development of staff in the store.
• To ensure the check outs are always operated efficiently and effectively.
• To promote the Customer Loyalty programme at every opportunity and ensure that all staff are too engaging in this process.
• Responsible for Stock Management, and to check in deliveries according to Store procedure, ensuring quantities of product delivered match with delivery dockets and raising queries with suppliers when necessary.
• To handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to store procedure, ensuring the highest standard of customer care is given to all our customers.
• To ensure hygiene standards and the general presentation of the store are maintained as per agreed procedures.
• To comply with all Health & Safety requirements as they pertain to the Service Station and to report and handle any breaches promptly.
• To be responsible for the Service Station in the absence of and as directed by the Store Manager
• To perform any other duties as may be directed by the management team from time to time.
