Corrib Oil in Kilkenny is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee all store and team activities during shifts at our service station. You will supervise daily operations, ensure security and procedures are followed, and drive excellent customer service while managing stock and supplier interactions.

The successful candidate will lead, train, and develop staff, promote loyalty programmes, and ensure a safe, clean, and compliant store environment at all times.

Qualificações

• Experience in a busy retail/service environment.
• Ability to supervise and develop a team.
• Strong focus on customer care and problem solving.
• Familiarity with stock control and cash handling.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all duties performed by the team during shift.
• Supervise store operations and delegate tasks as needed.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures are carried out efficiently and securely.
• Enforce company policies and procedures within the store.
• Assist in induction, training, and development of staff.
• Ensure checkouts operate efficiently and accurately.
• Promote the Customer Loyalty programme wherever possible.
• Manage stock deliveries and invoices, and query discrepancies with suppliers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints with high standards of service.
• Maintain hygiene and presentation of the store in line with procedures.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements and report breaches promptly.
• Cover the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing all duties are carried out by the team during shift.
• General supervision of the store and staff and delegation of duties when required.
• To ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out efficiently in all areas of the Service Station premises and in accordance with security and other related procedures.
• To comply with and ensure that company policies and procedures are always adhered to within the store.
• To assist in the induction, training, and development of staff in the store.
• To ensure the check outs are always operated efficiently and effectively.
• To promote the Customer Loyalty programme at every opportunity and ensure that all staff are too engaging in this process.
• Responsible for Stock Management, and to check in deliveries according to Store procedure, ensuring quantities of product delivered match with delivery dockets and raising queries with suppliers when necessary.
• To handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to store procedure, ensuring the highest standard of customer care is given to all our customers.
• To ensure hygiene standards and the general presentation of the store are maintained as per agreed procedures.
• To comply with all Health & Safety requirements as they pertain to the Service Station and to report and handle any breaches promptly.
• To be responsible for the Service Station in the absence of and as directed by the Store Manager
• To perform any other duties as may be directed by the management team from time to time.
