Job summary

Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom Ltd is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the Production team at our Macroom facility. You will drive targets, QA, safety, and cost control while supporting the Plant Manager in operations.

You will manage shift employees, ensure GMP/Hygiene, coordinate with QA, logistics, maintenance, and HR, and cover for the Production Manager as needed. A relevant degree and SAP/MES/SCADA experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a management/supervisory role in food manufacturing.
• Third level qualification in a related field is desirable.
• Experience with SAP, MES or SCADA is desirable.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shift Team to achieve production targets/KPIs
• Ensure the highest standards of product quality, integrity and hygiene
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards
• Monitor and control costs
• Ensure safe working practices and conduct of the team, contractors and visitors
• Maintain effective communication at all levels
• Shift Manager to cover for Production Manager when absent and support in other areas
• Interface with HR regarding performance/development and any employee relations issues
