Job summary

Apleona Ireland is seeking a Service Attendant for our office in Dublin 2. The role is Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with an immediate start. You will manage day-to-day facilities tasks, support contractors, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and service across all areas.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, respond to helpdesk requests within SLAs, and provide basic AV/IT support. A proactive, flexible teammate who values safety will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or workplace support is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic health & safety knowledge.
  • Familiarity with AV/IT equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of day-to-day facilities tasks and ensure completion to a high standard.
  • Identify and escalate opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Carry out regular floor walks to maintain workplace standards and identify issues early.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all areas.
  • Support coordination of contractors onsite, ensuring compliance with site procedures and health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure all helpdesk requests are responded to within agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Keep stakeholders informed on the progress and resolution of requests.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully set up, functional, and reset to a high standard after use.
  • Provide basic AV/IT support for meetings where required and escalate issues as needed.
  • Actively contribute to a safe working environment by following and promoting health & safety practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reports, checklists, and documentation.
  • Highlight recurring issues, risks, or trends through reporting.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients, staff, and contractors.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when required.
