Responsibilities

• Ensuring thorough training for all employees on cleaning products and roles.
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels and replenishing as needed.
• Organising housekeeping and litter control around the building.
• Reporting and storing lost and found items.
• Providing basic information on facilities when required.
• Handling complaints in line with management.
• Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintaining confidentiality on service users and business matters.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Attending training and meetings and participating in reviews.
• Keeping accurate records and preparing reports.
• Maintaining health and safety and following risk assessments.
• Wearing PPE as identified by client or risk assessment.

  At Apleona, We are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Working Supervisor to be based in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow.

  Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, 35 hours per week

  Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring correct and thorough training is given to all employees on the cleaning products and cleaning roles within their establishment.
  • Ensuring correct levels of stock is held and replenish when minimum levels arise.
  • Organising general housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
  • Report and store lost and found items
  • May when required, provide basic information on facilities
  • Handle complaints in line with your manager.
  • Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to service users, ex-service users and general business
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures
  • Attend training and meetings as required and appropriate and participate in performance reviews
  • Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required
  • Have a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development and review of best practice
  • Take care of their own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions
  • The post holder is expected to follow all the health, safety & welfare regulations
  • Comply with the safety rules set out in the Company Policies and any safety rules set out clients
  • Wear any personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied – Safety shoes/safety glasses/high-vis vests or any other item of PPE identified by the client or risk assessment for that task
