Job summary

Boland's Wexford is seeking a Service Advisor to be the calm, capable voice for customers and the connective tissue between customers and the workshop.

You’ll be the first point of contact on the service desk, guiding customers, scheduling service, and delivering transparent estimates and invoices. The role offers growth within a recently refurbished showroom and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a comparable customer-facing role (automotive background a strong plus).
• Excellent communication skills — written, spoken, and listening.
• Comfortable on DMS/CRM systems and with the administrative side of the role.
• Composure under pressure and the ability to juggle a busy day without dropping standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and guiding them through the service journey with confidence and clarity.
• Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance, and repair — accurately, first time.
• Acting as the bridge between customer and workshop, keeping communication clear on work scope, timelines and costs.
• Preparing transparent estimates and invoices that customers can trust.
• Managing updates, follow-ups and details that turn a one-time visit into a long-term relationship.
• Supporting the Aftersales Manager in keeping the department running smoothly.
